Hi,all

I have a box pack ASA 5510 with security-plus license.My question is what is my step when i install the asa? i have to run or add any code for security licenseces or i have only install asa as it is?

No, it'll already be done for you. The licence will be pre-installed on the ASA.

Note: you need at least ASA software 7.1x (I think) before you can see your 2 x 1000/100/10 interfaces that come with the Sec+ licence.

you can verify the license once you have the ASA powered up by issuing the command "show version".

also, ASA doesn't run IOS.
