I have an ASA 5540 using version 8.0(2). I'm in the process of setting up and using SSL vpn connections to the device. I have a vendor that is using RDP via the SSL (using the Java RDP client/server plugin).
The SSL connects fine and works fine. When using RDP though it sometimes the user will get a popup box during the RDP seesion that says "java.net SocketException Connection reset" with an Ok button. You then have to close completely out of the SSL and reopen it to get it to work again. I've also been able to duplicate this issue.
I'm using JRE 1.4. I have not yet been able to pinpoint this on the ASA (in its logs) but am still looking.
Any idea what is causing this or how I can stop it from happening?
