ASA WITH CSC + IPS CARD ?

hi all

we need secure our network using both CSC and IPS cards however i found that their is only one expansion slot in ASA.

what if i want to use both ?

if i install just SSM card , will it take care of CSC featrue such as anti-spam , anti-virus... ?

Unfortunately you can only have one module or the other, not both on the ASA firewall.

You can however combine that with a standalone appliance.

You can install CSC module on the ASA, and have standalone IPS appliance securing your network. However, you can't have both CSC and IPS modules on 1 ASA.
