Hi!
I have a new 5506W-X (wifi model).
I have problem accessing the wifi setup, ref to the quick-quide:
On the computer connected to the ASA inside network, launch a web browser.
2.
In the Address field, enter http://192.168.10.2. You are prompted for the username and password.
3.
Enter the username Cisco and the password Cisco. The access point GUI appears.
But i`m unable to open 192.168.10.2 or ping the ip.
I can see the interface 1/9 is up with 192.168.10.1 (asa ip) and dhcp enabled with range 192.168.10.2-200
Cannot find any config for ip 192.168.10.2
Config guide for 5506 has no more info regarding wifi setup.
Any tips?
Regards
Erik

Hi Erik,
As per your description, i could see that the ASA is configured with DHCP range 192.168.10.2-200. Therefore your access-point has received IP address from DHCP.
As you have mentioned that your computer is connected to ASA inside interface network(expecting that PC is getting IP in range 192.168.10.x), i expect the traffic to directly go to 192.168.10.2 without going through ASA.
Please check if the your access-point is configured correctly. or If you need to access it through 'https instead of http'.
Please let me know if you have any query on this.
Regards.
