Can Cisco ASA 5505 or greater running OSPF (ABR) support multiple areas?

I'm designing a network over a metro Ethernet and using OSPF as the routing protocol

The goal is to have Area 0 designated to one physical location that is very stable placing.

On Area 0 I will have a Cisco ASA 5505 inside interface connected. This Cisco ASA will be a backup link to the other side of the Metro Ethernet at our collocation center. The backup link will be over an IPSEC tunnel. Can the Cisco ASA 5505 or greater support multiple areas? Can it be an ABR? The outside interface and its peer ideally would be in another area.

Yes the ASA can be an ABR or an ASBR

Supports only single TOS(TOS0) routes

Does not support opaque LSA

It is an area border and autonomous system boundary router

You can also redistribute between different OSPF process's aswell.
