Cisco ASA5510 FW

Hello,

i am using Cisco ASA5510 Firewall in my network.  Upgraded the Memory and Flash   to 1GB and 512MB.But the   5 interfaceses  ports are  10mbps.

Can it possible to upgrade the module  of Interfaceses from 10mb to 1gb ?

Please advice .

Hi Saroj,

Even though that interfaces are named as ethernet it supports as a fastethernet with 100 mbps

ASA(config)# int ethernet 0/1

ASAconfig-if)# spee

ASA(config-if)# speed ?

interface mode commands/options:

  10    Force 10 Mbps operation

  100   Force 100 Mbps operation

  auto  Enable AUTO speed configuration

ASA(config-if)# speed

If you upgrade your license to sec plus bundle then you will get the 2 interfaces say inside and outside with 1 gig port.
