cisco ids 4235 setup error

When I telnet to one of my sensors, I ran setup, I got the following error, please help.

Error: XML Parser: no element found at line 1

what is the version of this sensor? can you try to reboot the sensor and then run setup.

try to erase the current config using

erase current-config

then run setup

see if that helps

I get the same error when I try to update the signature in my IDS:

"An error occurred while running the update script on the sensor named VDG4235-ISP01. Detail = CLI Error: "XML Parser: no element found at line 1"

1. What can I do?

In addition, those errors are showed when I do this:
