Try creating a new ftp repository (from the GUI) that uses the same destination but a unique name. Validate if from the cli ("show repository <name>"). Then specify it in the GUI as the target repository for the backup job(s). If that all works then delete the old repository from the GUI.

- Adding when validating current or new repository with show repository .... issue command debug transport 7 command first , which may also give insights concerning credentials being valid or not.
