Company has HA 5525 ASAs and a large wireless network with Prime. Monitoring is not so good; Solarwinds that is poorly licensed and configured. A number of times issues have gone unknown for a while because we do not have a good alerting system. Could CSM be a solution for the security side of things?

Not really. It is quite old software and designed for managing large numbers of ASAs (think dozens to hundreds).
It hasn't been significantly enhanced in years as it's on a down glide towards obsolescence as ASAs are gradually replaced by Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD). Even before FTD it never really caught on much. I've seen it in use in a customer environment maybe twice in the past dozen years.

@prash001 CSM is legacy software. If you want to centrally manage multiple ASA firewalls you be better off using Cisco Defense Orchestrator (CDO). https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/security/defense-orchestrator/index.html
