Hello ,
I need to put 2 Cisco 4120 in cluster (active / passive)
Can the clustering be done using the 8-port 1Gbps copper, FTW (fail to wire) Network Module ?
Thanks

You can configure an active/standby failover on the FTD using that module. I did not see any restriction for using these interfaces for the failover link. Obviously Hardware bypass functionality wont work for the failover interface.

Thanks Rahul.
We are finally going to use only the 40Gbps interfaces.
I am new to firepower . The firepowers will be connected to 2 nexus in VCP. (one link from the primary firepower to the primary nexus and 1 link from the secondary to the secondary nexus)
Is a dedicated interface required to perform the clustering(CCL and datalink)? Or can we use the above 40Gbps links?
I remember setting up a cluster of cisco ASA 4-5 years back with dedicated interfaces.
All the online documentation is confusing. They all talk about PO48 CCL and PO10 for datalink , but not mention how physically this should look like.
I think that i will need 2 interfaces per firepower for CCL and 2 interfaces for datalink. Is that correct?
