I was doing some research and was trying to find out if you can configure an ASA to allow a Secure FTP connection through an ASA. I think I read about it somewhere in these forums, but I cannot find a thread with much in it. If anyone has the details about this config, I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Hi,
Plz mention where is the client and server located ?
U want to do a FTPS is ftp over a SSL (secure sockets layer) connection.
SFTP is not ftp but SCP (secure copy) commands (or similar) over a SSH2 (secure shell) connection?

HI,
ftps:For this to work.
Create rules in your firewall as follows
1) Allow Any to FTPS server on port 990.
2) Allow FTPS Server port 989 to any.
Sftp should work fine
