Could somebody tell me how can I use tftp to upload config from pc to PIX ?

Hi,

I find it is very difficult to upgrade code from down level code to high level code when I need download config .

In pix code upgrade precedure , I know pix can upload config to PC using tftp. But in that , it have no download config from pc to pix.

you can use conf net x.x.x.x:filename, where x.x.x.x is the IP of your tftp server and filename is the name of the pix config file in your tftp server's default tftp directory.

Which version of the Pix software are you running? If it is 5.0 or greater all you have to do is use the copy command to copy from tftp to flash. If it is pre-ver 5.0 then you will need to boot it in monitor mode and then it is a few more steps. Let me know and I'll forward the pre-ver 5 if needed.

config net xx.xx.xx.xx is ok.
