Don't know if this is the problem that you are having but let me tell you the problem I had installing CSPM v2.3.3i and maybe it will help you.
The client installation program for version 2.3.3i has some bugs associated with installing CSPM on a WIN2000 desktop. I did not have a problem with WinNT 4.0. If you are installing on a WIN2000 desktop you must have Service Pack 1 and Internet Explorer 5.5 loaded. If you have Service Pack 2 or IE 6.0 loaded then the install will not work. Trust me.
Cisco told me this install problem will be fixed in the next release but could not give a release date.
I hope this helps.
