CSPM and PIX 525 Problems

We are running CSPM 2.3.2 f to manage 3 pix 525 pairs configured in stateful failover. We are experiencing a lot of problems with the cspm. The database crashes on a frequent basis (once a week). The only recovery option that we have found that works is to restore the original (blank) database and then import the cpm file. The problem with that is, that you lose all log files.

Lately, we have also experienced problems with the pix failover when updating changes made with the cspm. The failover gets disabled and not reenabled.

Has anyone ever experienced similar problems? Are there any solutions?

Keep an eye on what state the database is in. There is a known issue that is caused by backup software trying to backup CSPM without allowing CSPM to gracefully close the database.
