Defence upgrade

We have defence centre 3D 1500 ver 5.3.1 and we have ASA ver 5.3.1  ( ASA 5555-X 5512-x and appliance running 5.3.0.1  ( 3D 8130)

WE require to upgrade defense centre to ver 5.4.1.6 .for upgarde process do we have to upgarde to version 5.3.1.6 then upgrade to version 5.4 or can upgarde directly to version 5.4 ,once we upgarde to 5.4 ,we can upgarde to 5.4.1.6

Fire Sight version 5.4 support ASA module 5.3 and appliance 5.3.0 .1 ,let me know if Fire Sight 5.4.1.6 support ASA module 5.3 ,or we need to first upgrade ASA module to higher version and let me if it same for appliance running ver 5.3.0.1.

Hi,

For Firesight Manager you would first need to upgrade to 5.4.0  and then upgrade further.

I would advise you to upgrade the ASA first to 5.4 version and then upgrade FMC to higher version. Because you will not be able to manage 5.3 devices from 5.4.1.x version.
