Hi
can anyone let me know how to troubleshoot email notification issues in ime server...the notifications stopped all of sudden, where as test mail is working in Ime....

I'm having the same issue.
Running IPS Manager Express 7.1.1 I have an open ticket with Cisco support but not getting much response from them on it.
I have rebooted the IME server.
I have rebooted the sensor.
I am running an old version of the signiture engine
(7.0(1)E3).
I am thinking of upgrading but I'm not sure that will fix the issue. I'm really disappointed with Cisco support on this. My test emails work also but then events happen with no notification.

RESOLUTION STEPS :-
There is a best way of troubleshooting this issue........
Check the logs in C:\Progarm Files\Cisco Systems\log
Go to Services.msc
Restart MYSQL-IME service.
I have resolved such issues recently..
This is applicable only when ime is not getting any logs and ips is logging the events..
