Hello everyone!
Is it possible to use an EVDO router with a Cisco ASA 5505 and still build a site 2 site tunnel? I am having trouble thinking this through. The EVDO does not have a static. Can I still build a tunnel?
I am so cofused since I have never had to use this as a solution.
Thanks,
STP

Yes, you can, but since you don't have a static IP, the vpn tunnel can only be initiated from this ASA.

what would need to be done on the firewall to make this happen? i am only used to static ip with t-1 connections.

Sorry, I might mis-understand your question. So you have a router with EVDO acess to the internet and you would like to setup a vpn tunnel between this router and a ASA.
If this is the case, yes, you can configure IPSec tunnel between ASA and this router. But, since the router don't have static IP, the vpn has to be initiated from router side. You can configure ASA as Easy VPN server. Here is the example.
If it is a different case, please explain in detail what you are trying to do.
