FIrepower 2130 FTD vs ASA code

Can someone explain the difference between running the ftd and asa software on a firepower 2130? We have hit a roadblock where fmc is running 6.1 and the 2130 is running ftd 6.2.

Does asa have the same feature set and speed as the ftd code? or will the asa code turn the 2130 into just a firewall without sourcefire?

Hi Eric,

ASA doesn't have the "sourcefire"features. Moreover it is not manageable by FMC.
