Firepower upgrade

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade my FirePOWER from 6.2.0.6-110 to 6.2.3 and I have downloaded "Cisco_Network_Sensor_Upgrade-6.2.3-83.sh" from Cisco download web site, do I have to download and install the module boot image as well or it is not needed? When I upload this file and press the install I get the attached error message even though I have deleted all previously installed network sensor patch files and there is nothing showing up in the list of updates, is this related to not installing the module boot image 6.2.3 or irrelevant?

Thanks

You only need the module boot image when you reimage a module altogether (from the cli). It's not needed for an upgrade.

You need to clean out some of the older files on the module. Typically, you can look in /var/log/sf and remove any of the older patch directories. Also look for older updates in /var/sf/updates

That said, if you don't have any policies in place it may be easier to reimage.
