Hello,

I don´t have expertise with firewall and I would like a help.

Here in my company I have a firewall ASA5585-SSP-10, 6144 MB RAM, CPU Xeon 5500 series 2000 MHz, 1 CPU (4 cores) and I need account the capacity from my firewall.

Because there are 800 employees and after 3 months will start more 600 employees and I would like to know if the firewall will endure all employees.

I wait for answers.

Thanks a lot

Any tool that can query the ASA with SNMP is fine. If you don't have one yet, you could start with the free version of PRTG.

It all depends on where the firewall is placed. If it's the edge-firewall to the Internet, it's very likely that the ASA will be fine. Here is a data-sheet where you can see the specs:

Thanks Karsten,

Do you know If there is any tool to do a study of utilization ?

Regards,

Danilo
