FIREWALL SYNCHRONIZATION

ASA firewall failover not synchronizing... Here is the result of show failover. The configuration appears to be correct but we don’t understand why the devices are not syncing.

Hi,

Can you rather show the output of "show failover"

What is the software version used?

I havent personally run into many situations/problems with configurations sync.

Only situation was when the previous Sync got stuck and didnt finish. In the end it required a complete erase of the Standby unit configurations and reconfiguring it will Failover configurations and connecting back to the network.

Never knew what caused the Sync problem then but at that moment it was causing problems for the Active device also so didnt have time/option to troubleshoot further.
