FMC to cdFMC

I have FMC that is managing two FTDs. I am planning to start using cdFMC. What is the needed licenses for cdFMC. Also, do I need to have the FMC or I can just stop using it.

You need an on-prem analytics-only FMC if you want some of the more advanced reporting functionality or don't plan to purchase SAL.

With regard to the on-prem FMC you need that for the FTDs migration, but once the FTDs are fully onboarded and managed by the cdFMC then I don't think you need the on-prem FMC anymore.
