On FMCv 6.2.2 and FTD 2110 ver.6.2.2, the cluster displays both FWs as active when it's active backup if I check the FTD CLI.
There must be a bug in this version.
Anyone have experienced something similar?

This could be the bug 'CSCve72597', can you SSH to both appliances?
I would suggest upgrading to 6.2.3.1.
