Hello,
I have FTD 3140 running in multi-instance mode running on 7.4.2.1. At the moment only its chassis is available.
How can I upload a new FTD image to the chassis? On 4100/9300 chassis manager there was a button "Upload image".
Nothing similar is here. The only possible solution I found was to:
- log into chassis of 31400 via SSH
- then from FXOS "scope firmware", "image download ..."
I did that. But that doesn't solve my problem. I am still getting Deployment failure after my attempt to create an FTD instance (error message says about missing CSP files and "show image" doesn't show any CSP image available).
Any hints?

Hello!
To upload a new FTD image to your HP 3140 chassis in multi-instance mode, log into the chassis via SSH and enter FXOS. Navigate to "scope firmware" and select "image download" to upload the new FTD image. Ensure the upload includes the necessary CSP files.

Hello,
I did that. I tried to download
- Cisco_FTD_SSP_FP3K_Patch-7.4.2.1-30.sh.REL.tar
- Cisco_FTD_SSP_FP3K_Upgrade-7.4.2-172.sh.REL.tar
Show download shows success. Howevere as stated above I can't see CSP files in the output from cli "show image"
