FWSM issue : Support Maximum Speed

Hi all,

I have a question about supportting maximum speed on FWSM.

Cat6500, which contained FWSM on the chassis, connect to internet over 300Mbps bandwidth.

When i connect laptop using 1Gbps Lancard to test innternet speed from outside interface of FWSM, I can see the speed over the 200Mbps, but when i test from inside of fwsm the same way, i just can see only under 100Mbps speed.

I'm curious about this..

Does anyone have the same experience??

Have you checked the Duplex settings ?

How are you measuring the speed. If you are using java plugins like dsl reports they may not be accurate specially with nat/ASA/randomsequnces of the fw.
