fwsm : random-seq-num enabled -> SYN problems

I've noticed that when randow-seq is enabled, about 10% connections failed.

I've encountered the same effect on version 2.3 and 3.2.

Any suggestion about what could be the causes of such behaviour ?

Could you please provide some more information about this problem? (i.e. What sort of topology are the connections flowing through? What protocols are being used?, etc.)
