High Availability configuration with two different ASA Model Firewall

Hi,

I have one ASA 5512-X and 5515-X Firewall at my data center. One of them is running as production box and the second one is available offline, this is fully configured to act as redundant firewall if the primary fails. We are currently running at risk having this manual switch over as the fail over plan.

Is it possible to configure an active/active or active/standby failover using these two different model ASA firewalls.

No - it's not possible.

An ASA HA pair requires that both models are identical hardware.
