I work for a public library system, and our children's librarian wanted to link some local schools' websites so that parents could check summer reading lists. These websites make use of Hover buttons which do not show up inside my network. After doing some research, I have concluded that this is a result of my PIX firewall. Has anyone else experienced this, and if you have, how (if at all) did you solve it.

For the Hover button to display correctly, you need to let pass java applets. The following commands can be added to the configuration to let pass java.
ip inspect name fwout http java-list 1
access-list 1 permit any

Thank you for your response...but isn't the IP INSPECT command a function of the CBAC in IOS firewalls? I tried to use the command on my PIX and it did not recognize it.
