How reinstall the ASA - CX module in a RMA, activate the module, install the license, configuration and leave work before the issue.

Hi everyone,

I need help to reinstall the ASA - CX module in a RMA:

1.- How can I activate the module?,

2.- How install the license?

3.- How can I transfer the configuration, I´m worry to erase the configuration, because only the chassis was affected.

I hope you can help me to leave the CX work before the issue.

Is your CX module managed by PRSM Multiple Device mode (i.e, off-box)?

If so, you can just bootstrap the new module (basic command line setup) and then use PRSM to re-deploy policies to it that were on the failed module.

Since it's an RMA you obviously have a support contract. So you can open a TAC case if you would like detailed instructions and/or assistance in the actual process.
