IDSM CANN'T CONNECTED MC

I use MC(1.0) to monitor IDSM(ver 4.1(4)S91).First step I config MC to add the IDSM and then I found that the Device Status was Not Connected in Monitoring Center-Security Monitor,what's the problem or what else should I do.

Is the device you are trying to moniter supported in the version of MC you are running. You need to look into the list of supported devices in the documentation. If supported, ensure that connectivity to the monitored evice is fine.

are you running the latest version of IDSMC? have you run "setup" and assigned Ip addresses and permissions
