IOS as pptp client?

The PPPoE client mode works just fine, but what about the PPTP client mode?

Is that supported by IOS? I haven't found any usefull information.

Hello redfsi,

It looks like IOS will only terminate PPTP. It cannot serve as a client or intiate PPTP tunnels. PPTP is a Microsoft protocol and can only be controlled by the Microsoft client.

Hi,

Shifting from PPTP to PPPoE, I do not see quite a relevant thing. I guess you would like to shift to L2TP which is jointly created by MS and Cisco Systems.

Also the best would be to shift to IPSec
