Hi Luiz,

What is the main issue you are facing ?

How are you measuring the performance ?

I asked someone in Cisco about this topic and the answer I received was that the 10 GE interface is basically to allow connectivity from the IPS to another device with 10 GE interfaces.

I doesn't make sense to me but that was the answer I got.

which model you are referring?

On the Data Sheet for the IPS appliances I don't see any 10 Gb Interface:

Hi, Sid

My switches core e distribution is Nessus 7010.

IPS 4270 in promiscuous mode don`t work with Nexus 7010.

I need 10 Giga de throughput between the cor and distribution.

Then I will use three IPS 4270 inline witch between core e distribution.

   Performance:

  On datasheet

  Table 1. Product Specifications

  Cisco IPS 4270:

  Performance Media-rich = 4 Gbps
