ise new deployment version recommended

Hi experts

For new deployment of ISE cisco Download software  recommend 2.7, but this version is reliable?, not always the gold standard version is reliable, Or better install 2.6 ?

Hi,

In my experience yes ISE 2.7 is stable and reliable, feedback from customer deployments have confirmed that. ISE 2.7 has been available since Nov 2019, it's only on patch 2, which also indicates less critical issues found. It's also a Long Term release, so this version should be a good choice for deployment.

Another question is current backup config in ACS is about 2.5 gigas in tar file (25 gigas without tar),  in ISE it will be more or less the same? Without logs, only backup configuration. I need to estimate sftp space for backup config, more or less network devices are 10.000 devices.
