login fail count

Hi , I want that when I login my ASA 5510 and with the wrong password , I can have 6 times to retry.

But seems that the default time is 3 .

Can this time number be configured ?

Hi,

The range for Max Failed Attempts is 1 to 5. So the Maximum option you have got is 5.

This can be done from using following tabs.

Configuration-->Device Managment-->Users/AAA-->AAA Server Groups--> Edit the TACACS+ and modify the Max Failed Attempts option

Can call-home feature accomplish this  ?

Hi,

No sure about call home feature.

But you could enable syslog messages on ASA to achive what you wanted. Below url should help.
