MACSec between linux host (red hat) and a cisco 9300 switch

I'm trying to configure macec encryption between a cisco Catalyst 9300 switch and a server that is running Linux (red hat).

I tried to combine guides from red hat and cisco to do this but so far no success.

For the cisco side I used this guide. For the red hat side I tried with a configuration of a wpa_supplicant.

Can anyone share a configuration that works?

@kasper123  I am not sure MACsec is intended for use with servers though, as they should ideally be in a secure location.

What supplicant are you using? You'd need to use Secure Client/AnyConnect or a client that supports MACsec. Here is an example, but using Windows, similar principle when using linux.

@kasper123 is using wpa_supplicant on the server side.
