NM-CIDS-K9 on 2821

Hi,

I installed a NM-CIDS-K9 Module into my 2821 router running 12.4.8 (C2800NM-ADVSECURITYK9-M). My IDS module is running 5.0(2)S152.0. The issue I have is that the Interface IDS-Sensor 1/0 of my router is going up and down every 10 seconds. I configured ip cef and followed the Cisco Manual, but I cannot figure out why this happen. Is this a IOS bug or do I need to upgrade the IDS ?

Any help would be appreciated !

The issue may be due to the cabels or the interfaces that are connected to sensor may be down due to hardware problem. Check the hardware compnonet of the IDS sensor.
