password issue

Greetings-

   I put in an enable password in the encrypted format in a 515, watched it go in, I also have a capture of the session.  However, when I try to use it to log in, I can not. Am I doing something wrong?

You you try to use the enable password are you using it in unencrypted format?

The ASA will not be able to check it if you are doing so.

You will need to use the encrypted version you put in.
