I took over communications at our firm a couple of years ago and am have learned the PIX by trial and error so please bear with me.
I have a PIX 515 (6.34) unlimited license that has been fine for 3 years. Some users were not able to get to the Internet who had been connected earlier in the day. It turns out, I have to clear xlate. This is happening a couple of times a week now. I have a NAT and PAT that seem to be working fine, but I still need to clear it. Please help.
Thank you

Yes fairly new, a few weeks. Right now, nobody is really in the office but here is a sample.
sh xlate count
18 in use, 469 most used
sh conn count
114 in use, 1148 most used
My "in use" goes up to 69 or so, I have never seen the "most used" connections up that high
Thanks, Cec
I have ran Ethereal and dont seem to see a huge amount of any sort of traffic.
