Hi,

we are using the PIX 515E in our network with differenent version of IOS 6.3,7.0 and 7.2

sometimes we are getting some unwanted packets through the IPSEC VPN established between our branch office which increaases the CPU load on my PIX

can any one suggest how we can find the interface load or utlization or packet per second in PIX 515E

you can use something like mrtg or prtg (or any other bandwidth monitor) to monitor either the PIX interface directly using snmp or monitor the switchports that the PIX is connected to. either one will work. You should monitor each interface of the PIX if you're going to go through the trouble of monitoring.
