PIX benchmarking

We recently added a number of VPNs (site to site) to our PIX 525. We would like to benchmark both the processor and memory on the PIX to determine any possible impact. Now I know that the PDM can do some limited benchmarking. I'm looking for some software that can perform both these tasks but over an extended period (I think the PDM can only capture the processor for a 5 minute period.)

cacti is a good tool.

MRTG is one also but cacti is better.

Hi Chad,

I tried the one program (mrtg) and I had some installation issues. But in the meantime I discovered a program by AdventNET called OpMananger 6.0. It provides a method of tracking various PIX parameters....processing, memory utilization, bandwidth utilization etc. The freeware version of the program lets you monitor 20 devices with very few limitations. It utilizes SNMP.
