Hi
I've got a an active/standby pair of ASA's and I've been given a point-to-point circuit to connect into it. My problem is that I only have one ip address but when creating the interface I don't know what to do about the standby configuration. Currently all my other interfaces have the following:
ip address x.x.x.1 255.255.0.0 standby x.x.x.2
What can I do about this?
Thanks
Dan

If you only have one public IP then failover on the outside wont work (it wont monitor it). You can set the failover to monitor other interfaces i.e inside dmz.
Im guessing this is what you are asking?
If not then please clarify and elaborate.
