I have an issue which I am not sure how to resolve.
I have three devices, one I use as out of band
I run reverse ssh from device 1 to device 2 console
I then reverse ssh from device 2 aux to device 3 console
My question is, if I forget to kill the line aux 0 on the second device
I always remain connected from device 1 to device 3
How do I prevent this happening and how can I kill the session (I am going to reload the router) but it would be nice to just clear the session.
I want to avoid this issue in the future
Thanks

Hi ,
To resume back on to your device 2 console ,
if you nest sessions, the Ctrl-Shift-6 x will go back to the top one, Ctrl-Shift-6 + Ctrl-Shift-6 + x will go to the second one, etc.
Just try typing "1" or "2"

Thanks, maybe I didn't explain this as well as I could
What I want is to ensure that the connections to the AUX port and Console are dropped after a given time
I had configured exec timeout but I ended up adding a session timeout
