I've configured for master blocking sensor to telnet to PIX for shunning reassons. Is tbere any other legitimate case for sensor to telnet to PIX ?

The sensor IDS only communicates with the
pix for the purpose of shunning. So, no,
there is no other reason to configure a
sensor to telnet or ssh to a pix.
