Smart Licensing problem

Hi friends.

We want to register a FTD firewall in FMC 2500 using smart license. when I tried to use the token to register the FTD, I receive this error message.

the FMC has the connectivity to the internet and receive the updates without any problems.

what is the problem?

Smart licensing was running really slow for me this weekend. Perhaps just give it another try today.

Is there a proxy server in your environment? Those can cause issues with Smart Licensing.

Yes we have the proxy and we should use that.

is there no way to use the proxy?

Yes, you can use a proxy server. Check that your FMC is configured for it. 

You do that under System > Configuration > Management interfaces. Select the checkbox to enable use of a proxy server (and optionally to authenticate it that's required in your environment).
