Solaris client doesn't work

My solaris vpn client 4.0 gives me the message below every time I try to run it:

"The application was unable to communicate with the VPN sub-system."

The windows client works fine in the same network. The installation process seems to be succesfull (exactly same output as described in the manual). I've tried with 32 and 64 bits mode, with the same result in both.

Any idea?

Hello,

I think this may due to VPN module not running. Check with lsmod or lsmod -a to confirm.

Another reason I can think of is your Binary Path Directory "BinDirPath" in /etc/CiscoSystemsVPNClient/

vpnclient.ini is not configured for the correct directory.

If the Module is not running, Restart the module using the "./vpnclient_init restart"

Can anyone think of any other issues here.
