Time Based QoS

Hi,

I am reviewing to do a Qos for one of the IP , which is routed at ASA. There are lot of usage for that IP ( Bandwidth Usage ) , trying to limit the Bandwidth usage during day time. Can we do Time Based QoS so during Priduction hour it can use less bandwidth ?

 Time based QoS has a different objective as per the docs:

random-detect precedence {precedence | rsvp} min-threshold {bytes| ms| packets} max-threshold{bytes
| ms| packets} [mark-probability-denominator]

It is a parameter to add besides the tradittional  bytes and packets.  What you are may looking for is Time-of-Day QoS.

No you cannot do that using ASA configuration.
