I am unable to https to to vpn concentrator. I can access vpn concentrator using http. In the concentrator https is enable. public and private fileter allows https. i have checked acl and it allows my workstation to access concentrator. I have rebooted concentrator several time to get new certificate automatically. I am using proxy on the browser. I also disabled proxy on the browser and it still does not let me do https. I have use netscape and explorer. I have checked the routing and it corrects because i am able to get access to concentrator using http but not https. I can access https from different network or vlan. ANy idea what might be causing this problem.

I am not clear whether you are saying that you can HTTPS from some networks and vlans but not others or whether you can not HTTPS at all?

If you can not HTTPS at all to the concentrator I would suggest that you have another look at the concentrator and be sure that HTTPS is really enabled.

HI Rick,

I can https from different network or Vlan which is 192.168.10.0.but I can not https from my workstaion network which is 192.168.1.0.I checked the concentrator and https is enabled . I can do http from my workstion so routing is good. I can ping the concentrator from my workstation. I am unable to do https from my workstation.

If you can https to the concentrator from other networks, then certainly it is not an issue of enabling https. If you can ping and you can http to the concentrator from your workstation then it is not an IP connectivity issue.

From my perspective, if you have good IP connectivity and some applications do work (ping and http) and some applications do not work (https) then I would suspect that somewhere along the path is an access list that is not permitting your https. I would check the concentrator, and all the routers along the path from your workstation to the concentrator.
