upgrade ASA Software

I have 2 ASA . One is primary and the other one as secondary

So if

1- I upgrade the primary ASDM version it will effect in the running configuration to be deleted or down

2- If I upgrade it will effect on the secondary or I must upgrade the primary and secondary

3- Upgrade effect in the licensees

1) For your safer side please take configuration back up. ASDM is one of the file only, Your configuration will not get any effect. But you need to reboot the ASA, to maintain ZERO downtime please see procedure...Active your secondry firewall and upgrade it and reboot it.

2) No, you need to upgrade itno that also. ONly config file failover does exchange.

3) No licence will not get any effect.
