Upgrade PIX Failover to UR

Hello,

I have one PIX 525 with Failover SW. I would to upgrade it to UR. But i havent acces to Enable mode.

I have always message :

This machine is running in secondary mode without

a connection to an active primary PIX. Please

check your connection to the primary system.

Can you help me

I have this message when i start the PIX

where did the config come from? the enable password should be either blank, or "cisco". once you are in enable mode, you can use the activation-key command to upgrade, provided you have such a key for that pix

i have some bad news for you.

1: you will never be able to see a prompt

2: you will never be able to use that firewall as a stand-alone device

3: you can *only* use that firewall as a 'Secondary' firewall as clearly stated by the message
