url logging

All,

I have a 5550 that is in production. I've noticed that the only url logging that I'm getting is from the outside in, but not hosts on the inside out. I have my inspects under my global policy, so is there something else that should be done? I have a Packetshaper behind the ASA, which means all of my hosts will go through that device, but I'm seeing denies for their internal addresses, so I'm not sure the Packetshaper has anything to do with it.

On the Pix, do this:

logging on

logging timestamp

logging buffered xxxxx

logging host inside 1.2.3.4

logging trap 6

This will allow you to see URL of EVERYTHING. One word of caution, you will see a lot of logs.
